with Method Homes
In collaboration with Method Homes, a Seattle-based custom prefab builder, we developed the Paradigm series of sustainable modular homes. They are available in studio to three bedroom versions. Each design maximizes the sense of spaciousness and a connection to the exterior within a superefficient envelope. The homes are designed to be energy and water Net Zero and are targeting LEED Platinum, the Passivhaus Standard and 6 of the 7 petals of the Living Building Challenge once designs are adjusted for site specific conditions. A prototype of the single module Paradigm home was exhibited at the U.S. Green Building Council’s annual exposition, Greenbuild 2012 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco and was featured in DWELL as well as in the November 2012 issue of Professional Builder and on numerous blog sites.
